Computer Basics Course

This continuing education course, designed for students with little or no computer experience, provides instruction on using a personal computer and basic skills for Microsoft Windows. Topics include basic mouse skills, copying and manipulating files, creating folders and directory structures, Microsoft Windows components, and navigation and internet terminology and use.
Skills learned will include:

• Demonstrating the use of the internet, electronic mail, browsing, and searching
• Citing hardware and software operations, and basic computer terminology
• Performing basic navigation skills in the Windows environment
• Computer hardware, software, computer jargon
• Working with Windows 10
• Windows navigation skills
• Working with folders/directories
