Lighting of the Green

It’s a tradition to gather at the steps of the County Courthouse to discover the magic words that will light the trees signaling the beginning of the holiday season. Join us Thursday, December 6 at 7 p.m. for the Lighting of the Green. This event follows the Annual Christmas Parade at 6 p.m. in downtown Denton including custom floats, marching bands, fire trucks and queens. This parade is free and open to churches, school groups, marching bands, fire departments, civic organizations and more.
