The Fiber Arts Center announces Sunflower/Poinsettia Class

Students will complete a beautiful sunflower or poinsettia quilt using the Dresden Plate method. You may choose between three sizes of quilts to render your project. Dresden Plate Quilt Supply List Frixon Erasable Pen • Sewing machine in good working order with fresh needle • Rotary Cutter – sharp blade • Ruler – 6.5 inch or 6 by 12 in • Cutting mat • Straight pins • Thread to match fabric • 5 yards background fabric • 2 yards of fabric for Dresden plates (light, medium, medium dark prints) or 10 fat quarters for variety • 2 yards for sashing • ¾ for sashing corner squares.
