Walk a Mile in Her Shoes

Participation is easy. Pledge yourself, an employee, or a member of your organization to walk for $100 per walker. Monies raised will be used to support the Mid-Shore Council on Family Violence (MSCFV), the provider of comprehensive services to support victims of domestic violence in Maryland’s Mid-Shore counties. For this pledge donation, you will receive special recognition at the event and on the MSCFV website and social media pages, a Certificate of Silliness, a group photo, and other items to help you remember the event. 

 

The next thing you need to do is find your shoes. This walk should be done in high heels (red is the official color), but if you absolutely can’t do heels, glittery sneakers, sequined Keds or flowery sandals make great substitutes. If you wish to have us get the shoes for you, please include an additional $70 dollars per walker and place the shoe size of your walker in the check memo line. Shoe orders need to be made by April 1, 2019.

 

Finally, pick out your outfit for the walk and start strutting. Costumes and accessories are welcome and encouraged.
