| Join the Chamber and owners, Rob Griffith and Steve Konopelski, to celebrate the opening of Turnbridge Point, a bed and breakfast and event location in Downtown Denton right on the Choptank River. The ribbon cutting will take place at 5:00 pm and you are invited to stay for an open house until 9:00 pm featuring wine samplings from Harvest Ridge Winery, light hors d'oeuvres and dessert provided by co-owner and pastry chef Steve. Special discounts will be available for future reservations made that evening. |

| May 16 6th Annual Paddlefest on the Choptank |
Online registration is now closed. On site registrations paid by cash or check (to Caroline Chamber of Commerce) will be accepted from 8:00 am until 10:00 am at the launch site at the Greensboro Public Boat Launch off Sunset Avenue in Greensboro, MD.
The 6th Annual Paddlefest on the Choptank will begin with a 10:00 am launch in Greensboro, MD. The course will be a 7.7 mile paddle down the Choptank (going WITH the current) and ending at the Choptank River Yacht Club where the festival will begin at 11:00 am and go until 4:00 pm. You can enjoy a variety of live music, food, displays, kayak raffle, activities and the Paddle Poker awards presentation all on the beautiful Choptank River.
Online registration closes at midnight, Thursday, May 14, 2015.

After dropping off your vessel at the check in area in Greensboro, drive to Denton to park your vehicle at the corner of
Route 404 and 328 (10497 River Road)
Two shuttle buses will be taking paddlers from the parking area at 10497 River Road back up to the boat launch/check in area in Greensboro.
Festival - 11:00 am - 4:00 pm
Choptank River Yacht Club, 10287 River Landing Road, Denton, MD
There will be a shuttle bus from noon to 3:00 pm to take paddlers from the Choptank River Yacht Club back to their parked vehicles at the corner of 404 and River Road (A distance of .4 miles).
