The Fiber Arts Center of the Eastern Shore (originally
established as a part of the Caroline County Council
of Arts in 2012 and then as a standalone nonprofit in 2018,
was created to provide a central networking facility for fiber
artists in the region; increasing public access to and education
about fiber art; fostering and promoting creativity in all areas of
fiber art; and working to preserve artisans’ skills and traditions.
We currently have 170 active members and offer a wide variety
of classes from quilting, knitting, needlepoint, and more.
